Polycotton fabric resembles that of a traditional rugby union jersey fabric. The actual make-up of the jersey is 65% cotton and 35% polyester to ensure the jersey exhibits the softness of cotton and the durability of polyester. The jerseys are assembled using the cut and sew method, which means each panel on the jersey is produced individually then sewn together to form the final product. This enables the manufacture of more modern designs incorporating curves and panels, as opposed to just stripes.
Applications (e.g. school crests, names and numbers) on polycotton school jerseys include embroidery, applique, screen-print and thermo-film.

Sublimated school jerseys are an excellent option for school leavers of any age. They are easily customised and can have multiple applications (e.g. school crest, names and numbers) included at no extra charge.
The Sublimation Process
The sublimation process involves heating the jersey, then applying the design (including crests, names and numbers) onto the jersey using high pressure. The jersey starts off totally white then transforms after application into a full coloured, strong and durable garment. This process enables unlimited scope for design and colour.
