| Crescent Head Rugby Seven's - 14th Feb, 2009 |
The Kempsey Rugby Union Club would like to invite your club to participate in the Crescent Head Rugby Sevens, to be held on Saturday the 14th February, 2009. The event will be staged as one of the most prestigious Rugby Sevens tournaments in NSW Country, with over $8000 of prize money on offer.
The teams will be seeded into 3 divisions:
Country/Suburban Division – 16 Teams – Country/Suburban club standard.
* Premier (Top 8) Prize money – 1st - $3000, 2nd - $1000, 3rd & 4th - Each receive $250.
* Plate (Bottom 8) Prize money – 1st - $500, 2nd - $250
Mens division is now full as of the 10/12/08
Under 18’s – 8 Teams – Country or Suburban Under 18’s or Open Schools standard.
Prize money – 1st - $1000, 2nd - $500.
Under 18s division has 1 spot left as of the 15/12/08
Women’s Division – 8 Teams
Prize money – 1st - $1000, 2nd - $500.
There are 4 spots left in Womens division as of the 10/12/08
Notes
1. Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.
2. Men’s Teams in Country/Suburban Division will not play against the Under 18’s Division.
3. Clubs can only enter one men’s and one women’s team and one Under 18's team.
4. The cut-off date for entries is January 23, 2009. If the draw is not full after the cut-off date, clubs may enter additional teams.
5. Entry Fee is $100 per team, which must be sent with the fully completed entry form. Entry form alone will not be recognised until the $100 fee is received.
6. It is advised to post entry forms and fees as soon as possible, as the process of accepting entries will be first in, first served.
7. No invitational teams will be accepted. All teams must be ARU registered rugby clubs or schools.
8. All players must be registered on Rugbynet. Team managers are required to have the player’s registration number available on the day.
9. Teams are required to advise of withdrawal before January 23, 2009. Teams who do not advise of their withdrawal before this date will not be reimbursed the $100 entry fee.
